IMPORTANT! Dec. 8th Cancelled - Rescheduled for Dec. 22nd

Hello Everyone,

With our deepest regret we have to cancel the Dec. 8th Opening and reschedule it for Dec. 22nd. I know everyone is disappointed, but none as disappointed as we are. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Our worst nightmare came true as we received word this morning that due to uncontrollable circumstances that we can't hold our Latin dance party this Saturday (Dec. 8th). We were excited and looking forward to seeing everyone this Saturday as we have been putting in a lot of hours to prepare for this opening. It seems like the township has a couple more hoops for us to jump thru. (Can't say anymore than that.)

The December 22nd dance will be our new date for our special Grand Re-Opening Party. We will of course honor the invitations that we're mailed out.

Because we only have half of the people on our invitees list, that provided emails please call as many friends and family that had plans and attending this dance on the 8th and let them know that we have re-scheduled for the 22nd.

Please check out blog as it will have all the up to date information about our opening. It would be a good idea to check it out up to the time that you leave your house as we don't know what surprises may be in the future. This is our best way of communicating with everyone.

Again we are sorry for the inconvenience and we share you disappointment.

All the best,

Paul and Isa

Update Regarding Grand Opening

Grand Opening is Still scheduled for December 8th from 9pm to 2am.

Free admission is to those who attended last dance and filled out pink card. This was part of the 2 for 1 admission that we offered at our last dance.

We emailed those guest who provided emails.

We are sending out invitations via the mail. They were delayed due to a printing mistakes. They are being mailed out on December 3rd. Everyone should have by December 5th. Call or email by December 7th if you haven't received invitation. If you receive an invitation we recommend arriving between 9pm and 10pm to guarantee admission. Once we hit Certificate of Occupancy limit we have to cut off admission.

If you don't receive an invitation, admission is $12. (Not the $20 rumored)

Due to the overwhelming response in attending this event and the number allowed by the township for occupancy we must cap the number that can attend. Guest with invitations have priority admission before 10pm.

For guest without invitations once occupancy is reached we can't guarantee admission.

We recommend carpooling and please ask that everyone be quiet as we are in a residential neighborhood.

Official Opening Dates

Hi Everyone,

Happy Thanksgiving.

Finally! In December we will start our Stardust Latin Dances.

Our new location in Bellmawr is almost complete. A few minor details to attend to. I was just at the location and the new cushioned wood floor is absolutely beautiful. Its just as large as the previous floor. The inside is absolutely beautiful with natural wood colored floors. The ceilings are about 15 to 18 feet high painted in black. Hanging from the ceilings are beautiful chandeliers. There is also a new lighting system that can be programmed to play with music or any number of effects for mood. The walls are a deep plum color in the ballroom and deep fuscia color in the lounge area.

The bathrooms are huge with more stalls. So there won't be any waiting ladies. The air condition is state of art and climate controlled to keep a constant temperature throughout the even. It adjust its self automatic no matter how many people are in the ballroom.

The sound system will be state of the art and second to none.

Joyce Hanley the owner of the Ballroom will be adding here very nice touches to make the room very inviting and comfortable.

Stardust in Bellmawr Update - Grand Opening

Hi Everyone,

Unfortunately our grand opening won't be held on November 24th. There are still some things that have to be done at the new locations. We are shooting for December 8th as our Grand Opening Party for those who attended our last dance. This is still a tentative date. I will be heading over to check on the progress tomorrow. I will load a 360 degree panorama so that everyone can get an idea of the progress. We are almost there. There are still a few details to get done. Like the floor and some small touches. I'm sure everyone will be happy with the new facility once we re-open. I will email everyone with the a confirmed Grand Re-opening date. Everyone who attended our last dance and filled out the pink information card will receive a free admission notice by mail.

Thanks for your continued support.

Stardust Bellmawr Update

Its been a while since my last update. I've been trying to enjoy what's left of the Summer.

Today I visited the Stardust Bellmawr Location. I have good news and bad news. The good news is that the dry wall is done. The bad news is that we unfortunately aren't going to make the September Opening. Its more like October. When in October? Thats in the hands of tradesman and township planning board. While talking to some of the crew there, I was told that a couple a few minor problems kept coming up.

My first impression of the space is that its big. A little bigger than the old ballroom. There is plenty of parking. It looks like its going to be a fabulous room.

I took some snapshots. As you can see there is still lots of work to be done. However the dry wall is up.

This has some truth to it. Barbara has been kind enough to sell tickets to her students during the week. We will be at the Atrium on Thursday (May 24th) night from 9pm to 9:30. So if you want to get a ticket in person this is the only place. While you are there you can take an Intermediate Salsa Lesson which starts at 8pm and goes to 9:15pm. There is a fee for the class.

We were going to surprise everyone. But the cat is out the bag. Yes it is true. If you attend the last dance you will get a ticket for free admission to our Opening in September. Its like getting two for one. Its our way of showing our appreciation for your support.

5. Can you tell us about the Performances?
We will have 3 Salsa Dance groups performing Salsa routines. Each routine will be less than 5 minutes in length. Total performance should be only 15 minutes. The performances will take place between 11:30pm and Midnight. The groups are Visual Impact, George and Charlotte, and Mas Estilio.

6. Will there be a band?
No band. We did a quick survey and most Salseros wanted to hear Jose Rodriguez play the best in Salsa, Merengue and Cha Cha.

We will serve light desserts later in the night. You are welcome to bring light snacks. Please no food trays.
